Flying In

Rio de Janeiro is served by two airports. Most international flights arrive at Rio de Janeiro/Galeão International Airport (GIG), the city's main international airport.

For guests traveling within Brazil, Santos Dumont Airport (SDU) is a convenient alternative, located closer to the city center.

From either airport, the recommended neighborhoods for our guests Ipanema, Leblon, and Copacabana are typically a 20 45 minute drive away, depending on traffic.

Getting Around Rio

Uber is safe, reliable, and widely available throughout Rio. For most visitors, it will be the easiest and most convenient way to get around during the wedding weekend.

e-Visa Information

Important for U.S., Canadian & Australian guests

Brazil requires an e Visa for citizens of the United States, Canada, and Australia. The application is completed online, costs approximately US$80.90, and is typically approved within a few days, although processing times may be longer during busy periods. The e Visa allows multiple entries, and we recommend applying at least 2 3 weeks before your trip.

Upload the required documents passport, photo, etc.
Pay the visa fee
Receive your e-Visa by email once approved
Once you receive your e-Visa, print a copy and keep it with your passport to present if requested.
